The White House pulled its border-wall Tetris knockoff

The White House took down "Build the Wall," a web game where players stacked blocks to stop a "zombie border siege." The deletion happened days after launch, following legal scrutiny from The Tetris Company over copyright issues. According to The Verge, Tetris representatives confirmed they were reviewing the unauthorized clone shortly before it vanished. Other administration-themed games on the site, including "Flappy Bill" and "Rio Run," remain online.

Why it matters: Copyright law applies to government websites, too. Tetris built a global brand over 40 years, and its legal team moves fast when someone copies its iconic mechanics for political messaging.

Know this: While the Tetris clone is gone, four other official White House games—including "Supply Line" and "Trump Savings Tycoon"—are still playable on the site.

Turns out clearing lines is easier than clearing copyright claims.
