Hardware company Minimal announced the Minimal Phone 2, a compact Android device built around a physical keyboard and focus-focused software. Pre-orders open at $599 ($100 off the $699 retail price), with shipping planned for December 2026. The announcement drew 170 points and 163 comments on Hacker News.
