Google drops Gemini 3.7 Flash three weeks after version 3.6

Google launched Gemini 3.7 Flash today, just three weeks after its last model update.
Google announced the release as its newest workhorse model for coding and agent workflows. It arrives with a temporary price tag of $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens through the end of the year, half the launch price of 3.6 Flash. Benchmarks show clear gains across the board: software issue resolution on DeepSWE v1.1 jumped from 49.0% to 65.3%, while complex document reasoning on GDP.pdf rose from 22.0% to 34.0%.
Why it matters: AI release cycles are shrinking from months to weeks. The combination of higher accuracy on coding tasks and cut-rate pricing means running autonomous agents in production gets significantly cheaper today.
Developers can start building with 3.7 Flash in Google AI Studio, Android Studio, or Google Antigravity. Individual subscribers on Google AI Pro and Ultra will see the update power their Gemini Spark agent.
At this release pace, clear your calendar for 3.8 before your coffee gets cold.
